Virtual tours/Storytelling
The portal is intended to offer multiple access points for users. On the one hand, scholars should be able to use a highly structured and efficient search interface. On the other hand, such an interface also requires expert knowledge for querying it. Thus, another access point in the form of virtual tours, exhibitions or stories will be implemented for the general public.This intends to replicate the museum experience: the user can experience the collection or designated topics of his own choice through browsing a curated view of the material.
For visualization, the free tool StoryMapJS was integrated.
