Franz-Nabl-Institute for Literary Research
The Franz-Nabl-Institute for Literary Research is part of the University of Graz, the province of Styria is providing partial financing. Current and historical aspects of Styrian literature are the main focus of the institution, taking into account Austrian contexts as well as international relations. A specific characteristic of the institution is its assignment as a literary archive for Styria. Continuously building up special collections and documentations regarding sources for literary history, it serves as a knowledge store and is obliged to an active notion of the term archive.
DOSSIER online is an open-access-tool of Literaturhaus Graz and Franz-Nabl-Institut for Literary Research, whereby literary contents (blogs, texts, short essays by writers) as well as key topics regarding particular Austrian writers within the category “Dossier neu gelesen” are provided permanently. These specific contributions, integrated into the “Repositorium Steirisches Wissenschaftserbe” are selected academic articles taken from the 36 volumes of the printed series “Dossier”, published by Droschl. In digitalized and quotable form, supplemented by introductions and meta data, an academic as well as generally interested audience is addressed.
